Jakob Rørvik - Scratch
Two days ago I received one of the best present ever: a letter with a dvd from Jakob Rørvik, a short director from Norway that nowadays lives in London. He finished on 2008 a 34 min short called Scratch, about Lena (my new favourite actress, Viktoria Winge, after the movie REPRISE), a young art student new to London who follows Sol, a scruffy, charismatic 20 year old guy, for her “art project”. After reading good reviews around the blogosphere and checking the trailer (with music of The Kills) I wanted to watch it so bad that I asked him if he was coming to Barcelona to play it somewhere… The answer was not positive, no screenings in my city soon, but he was, in some way, surprised about my interest that he decided to send me a copy. No words for my happiness when I received.
