EGWM best albums of 2009 II (9-1)
Readers, it’s time to finish the “EGWM list of the best albums of 2009”! Here you have the second part with an honorable mention to my favourite band. While i’m doing this I decided to listen the band NOVELS with members of born ruffians, tokyo police club, etc… Really good music for people who are waiting for the new album of born ruffians on 2010! :D

Here, we have my #1. An indie-rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. There are no words to express my happiness everytime I listen to this band… They just have this debut album and three 7” and they are getting amazing reviews from all over the world. They did a great tour around the USA with The Twilight Sad and Frightened Rabbit and now they are coming back with a headline tour and a ticket for next SXSW in Austin. All with just one album. Like I said, a piece of gem really unkown in Barcelona. What a pity… listening songs like “It’s Thunder and It’s Lightening” or my favourite, “Moving Clocks Run Slow”, it’s a pleasure. Thanks guys!
HONORABLE MENTION 2009: THE RURAL ALBERTA ADVANTAGE
I don’t really know how to explain how much I love this band. They deserved to be my #1 in this list but the album was produced in 2008 and they started selling on his myspace while ago 2009… So the album is from 2008. Too bad. But I was not capable of leaving them out of my list for too many reasons. They are my favourite band (yes, favourite!). All songs of this album are incredible! Every word has a reason and the mix with the rhythm make a perfect song. I hope during this 2009 I will be able to see them. PS 2010? Lollapalooza 10? :) It will be rad. Period.
